I would describe pet hamsters as being...
My chinese dwarf hamster is an energenic and frisky pet. He is very low maintenance and interesting to look at. I am thinking of buying a winter white hamster, but I am keeping an open mind about that sort of thing. If you are an older child that wants a cute little hamster that barely needs any more than a clean cage and food and water (and of course a lot of love), get a chinese dwarf hamster! If any one out there has a cute hamster that I might like, post a comment to me and I will read it, as I am not allowed to share my e-mail.

I got my pet hamster from Petco, although I then discovered PetSmart which is much cheaper, so if you get a hamster, shop at PetSmart for the hamster and all of the supplies required. If I had spent all of my money at Petco, and the same amount at PetSmart, I would get a lot more at PetSmart as opposed to what I would get at Petco.
Tips and Tricks
- I taught my hamster to come to the front of his cage when I run my finger down the front of the cage, by giving him a treat the first 12 times he does this, and once he knew it, only give him a treat every 3 times he does this to make him understand he will get a treat every now and then so he will probably always come to the front of the cage.
