My hamster is a Teddy Bear hamster and his name is Declan. He is very sweet and doesn't bite and loves to run around. It seems like he never sleeps though, he takes small naps every now and then, but he usually awake during the day and at night. So he keeps me awake at night with his wheel. But i love him and i recommend this type of hamster for kids and adults.

I got my Teddy Bear hamster from Fish and Pets in Hendersonville. The employee i got him from treated him like he was dirt or something, and i felt sorry for the poor thing. There was alot of different hamsters there but i choose my hamster Declan, because he is unique to the others because he has one red eye and one black eye.
Tips and Tricks
- Declan is used to being held now, he was afraid of being picked up before.
