Help With Techniques for Picking Up Your Rabbit

Most rabbits do not like to be picked up and held; they tend to be more comfortable just being near you and initiating contact on their terms. However, there will be times you will need to pick up your rabbit so it is a good idea to practice picking up your bunny and placing him or her back down. Doing a quick practice lift daily, followed by a favorite treat, is a good way to make picking up your bunny easier for the times when it is necessary.
