Not all vets treat exotic pets, and not all exotics vets treat all exotic pets. The best way to find out if the closest vet to you sees your kind of exotic pet is to give them a phone call and ask.
Some vets treat only dogs and cats, some only birds, and still others just pocket pets and reptiles. Your more unusual pets, like coati, skunks, primates, and pot bellied pigs have fewer vets out there that will treat them, so your options are extremely limited. Don't be surprised if you have a bit of a drive to get to the nearest exotics vet for your pet.
If you have a vet that is not on this list and treats exotics send me an e-mail and I will gladly add them to this list.
