There is little doubt your hamster will be able to destroy these play tubes pretty fast. However, if you consider the cost of of file folders (where I live I pay under 10 cents per folder by buying a box of 100) and the fact that you can make multiple tubes from each folder, the cost of each play tube is very small indeed. So these homemade play tubes are very inexpensive, safe (remember, stick with plain - not colored - folders), and best of all, lots of fun!
