Paper Shavings Pet Bedding
The Story
Paper Shavings Pet Bedding has been used for years in large animal hospitals and with horse owners as stall bedding. Just recently they have started packaging the same recycled pet bedding into smaller, more pocket pet friendly bags.
The company started about 30 years ago and has been working to perfect their product ever since. The company owners have used their own pets as "guinea pigs" with the bedding and couldn't have been pickier about their product standards.
About Paper Shavings
The bedding is very soft and expands to create a massive amount of bedding for pocket pets, reptiles, and other exotic pets that need something soft to lay in. It is made of recycled directory paper and the ink used is vegetable oil based, making it non-toxic to pets. The directory paper gives the bedding the soft feel, unlike shredded up newspaper or other kinds of paper. It isn't dusty either.
Who Uses It
Rabbit breeders have raved about this product saying the smell has been cut down a great deal and that the product is extremely absorbent. The fact that it expands so much once taken out of the package makes it more cost effective than other beddings, not to mention not having to change bedding as often.
In my experience, rats and cornsnakes are fans of Paper Shavings Pet Bedding, and I don't see why other pets wouldn't like it!
