"What are these wart-like growths on my chinchilla's ears?"
Chinchillas can get tumors on their body just like other exotic pets. Warts, on the otherhand, are usually seen on the areas of little or no hair on your chinchilla, such as on the ears. They are typically from ectoparasites such as lice or mites.
Over the counter treatments (things from the pet store) are not safe to use on a chinchilla, or aren't effective, therefore taking your chinchilla to your exotic vet is the best thing to do for your pet.
Your vet will be able to confirm the existence of parasites, or let you know what type of growth or tumor is on your chinchilla's ears.
