Oriental fire bellied toads are readily available in the pet trade. As the photos show, their backs are a rather bland green and black mix, but their bellies have brilliant orange markings. As with many other species, that bright coloration is meant as a warning that they are poisonous, as their skin secretions are mildly toxic.
