Your Guide with Brittany the Boa Constrictor (taken at Reptile World)

Drumheller is a small town in Alberta which is best known for its amazing paleontology exhibits at the world-renowned Royal Tyrell Museum. At Reptile World you can see modern day descendants of the dinosaurs that made Drumheller famous. I've visited Reptile World twice now and have found that the animals on display appear to be in good condition and for the most part kept in well designed enclosures. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and if you go at the right time you might be able to meed Brittany, a young boa constrictor who is very friendly (see image to the right)!

The most famous resident of Reptile World is Fred, a very large American Alligator. I haven't been able to get a good photo of Fred so far, but there are many other animals on display. Many of their animals are quite large and are not shy, situating themselves at the front of their enclosures. Some of the better photos I have taken include many snakes, some lovely geckos, several frogs, and some very cute baby red-footed tortoises. The photos are fairly large so may take a bit to load for those on a slower connections, but for most pages I have only included one or two photos to minimize waiting times. Enjoy!
