The fight to prevent a federal ban in the US of several pythons heated up recently. Nine "constricting snakes" are being considered to be added to the "Python Ban" but there is a great deal of opposition.
Many people fear for the business side of things while others are more concerned with invasive species that can survive outside of warm weather, such as feral hogs.
