By , About.com GuideNovember 15, 2012

Follow me on:

Ferrets normally poop, a lot.  But when their poop turns into a green, slimy mess, things become much less normal.

Epizootic catarrhal enteritis can cause green, slimy stools in pet ferrets along with other problems including dehydration.  It is a serious but treatable condition that any ferret can get.

Learn about the symptoms and how to prevent it in your ferret in the new Ferret Epizootic Catarrhal Enteritis article, one of the many new ferret health and diseases articles.
