Rhode Island is on the alert for a pet alligator that was released into a pond.
The alligator hasn't been captured yet, but residents of the area have been alerted of it's presence and warned not to swim in the private property pond.
This isn't the first time a pet alligator has been released in the area and officials are working on catching it.
