Alligator Surprise

Follow me on:

A drug bust in Virginia surprised police when they found an alligator living in the basement of the house they were searching.

The gator is okay, but can you imagine how the police officers felt when they found an alligator while looking for drugs? I don't think that was what they were really expecting to find.

How big was the gator? Did they safely get him to a rescue facility?

How sad to keep an animal in the basement….hope he is ok and not been abused in any way….people should be fined or sent to jail for taking such horrible care of God,s creatures…poor animals cannot fight back or resist being taken and put in such disgusting living quarters….would love to know what happens and how the gator is doing

He was said to be healthy, and should have already been transferred to the Luray Zoo.

The report did not say how large he was. He spent a few days at a wildlife center before being transferred to a zoo.
