If you are looking to add a young Green Tree Python to your family, don't go looking for a green snake.
Green Tree Pythons are not born green, but rather an orange/red, golden, or bright yellow with stripes and spots of purple and brown.
It may take years for a Green Tree Python (Morelia viridis) to finish turning green.
