(1) Dianna says:

Guinea Pigs can also bond easily with other animals. I have a 9 year old G.P. who’s best friend was a Cockatiel that I also owned. They were so closely bonded that I couldn’t take one anywhere without taking the other one, so if 2 G. P.’s are not an option, a single one may bond with a dog or even a bird.
*Just a note, the Cockatiel suddenly died, and my Guinea Pig did go into mourning over him. She has finally come out of this mourning state and has started to bond with one of my other birds.
