Holiday Hazards for Pets
Sunday December 21, 2008
At our home, the holiday season is in full swing...although I am still trying to find safe locations for all the decorations (one of my dogs is rather, well, "creative" in finding new toys). In all the excitement of the holiday season, it is important to remember that sometimes our celebrations can be stressful to our pets, and some decorations and holiday treats can be dangerous. A look at common safety concerns for pets of all kinds over the holiday season can be found in Holiday Hazards for Pets.

people should be allowed to own primates. they are just like any other animal their not mean unless u dont take care of them or mistreat them. If you cant own a monkey then you shouldnt own any other animal if ur scared ur gonna get bit. all animals can do some damagetoo.
Yes, during this time of extra busyness and excitement…..don’t forget that your Pets are counting on your remembering their needs too!
Happy holidays to all , and to all pets, big and small!
I love the way you put the hat on your pet. I too have Guinea pigs. I don’t Know why but my piggies like Christmas, I guess it fits their Style.
Well, it turned out better than I thought it might, but it is my nephew’s guinea pig and I just pasted on a santa hat through the magic of graphics editing. I have been known to try Santa hats on my dogs though, but clearly my dogs do not share the Christmas spirit as they would rather eat the hats than wear them
Wow! I am very impressed with your Santa hat graphic editing!
Great job.
Thanks for the link, too. I will be doing a similar “holiday pet safety roundup” soon.
