Cute Ferret Tricks

The ferret in this video demonstrates some fairly easy tricks for your ferret to do. It can take a bit of patience to train your ferret (especially those ferrets that are very active and have a short attention span), but it helps if you can find some sort of small treat your ferret just loves. The trick to teaching your ferret simple tricks is to break the desired behavior down into small steps and reward the smallest of steps along the way. Gradually, you only reward the exact sort of behavior you want, but in the initial stages you'll want to give lots of rewards to give your ferret a chance to figure out what you want him or her to do exactly.
