Seems like a simple enough question, but the answer depends on the age of the turtle and the species of box turtles. All box turtles are omnivores, though at certain ages they have more carnivorous tendencies, and some species are more meat or plant-loving than others. I have had box turtles for years, my oldest is Smo which we have had for 38 years. She is 1 of about 15, they are all loose in the backyard and have lived there for many years.
I like the diet you suggest and I’m going to implement it, but I need to get rid of some males where do I start, where do I get rid of them. I hate to do it but they do stress out my girls and rule. Thank You
