Rabbit Body Language: the Bunny Binky!

Sunday March 2, 2008
The lovely bunny featured in this video demonstrates the rabbit body language affectionately referred to as a "binky." The binky indicates that a rabbit is feeling playful and joyful, and is remarkably difficult to describe. However, most rabbit owners have actually seen the action, and the owner of the rabbit in this video captured a whole series of binkies for us to enjoy.

Their body language cues can be pretty subtle and take a lot of practice to figure out, but there are a few things that rabbits do, like the aforementioned Binky, that are fairly unmistakable. Find out some of the ways rabbits let you know what they are thinking in Rabbit Communication: The Basics.
