Ferrets and the Flu

Did you know that ferrets are susceptible to human influenza virus too? That means if you have symptoms of influenza you should limit contact with your ferret until you are feeling better (and wash your hands frequently). Ferrets can also pass it back to humans, although it seems that influenza is more easily transmitted from people to ferrets. Read more...
