I do not want to start up a political discussion (I'm not even a US resident) but I thought this was an interesting way to look at the presidential hopefuls. I've always thought you can tell a lot about somebody by how they feel about pets. Anyway, a quick rundown of hopeful presidential pets can be found in this Associated Press article (on the WTOPnews.com site). For the curious, Sen. John McCain is the only candidate with exotic pets (a ferret and two turtles), and he also has the most pets of any candidate (by far, with a total of 22 pets!).
