What is a Wallaroo?

Recently in the news, celebrity Vanilla Ice was reunited with his pets, a goat and wallaroo, which had been on the run in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Goats can make surprisingly good pets, but what is a wallaroo? Wallaroos are marsupials native to Australia, and fall somewhere between wallabies and large kangaroos in size. Note that Vanilla Ice had allowed his state permit for the wallaroo to expire, which complicated matters -- just a reminder to make sure you know the laws (and adhere to them) about exotic pet ownership.
