Record Holding Snake Handler Fatally Bitten

In a sad bit of irony, a Thai man who held the world record for time spent confined with snakes died after one of his 30 pet snakes bit him. Apparently, he spent 7 days in a box with his snakes back in 1998 to claim the his entry in the Guiness Book of World Records. A cobra delivered the fatal bite (read news item).
