African Grey Parrot With a Stunning Vocabulary

An article in the BBC Wildlife Magazine documents the amazing speech abilities of an African Grey Parrot named N'Kisi. This parrot is claimed to have a 950 word vocabulary and the ability to use words in the proper context, use past, present and future tense, and put together novel phrases, all on much the same level as a young child would. He also shows signs of having a real sense of humor. N'Kisi would also seems to possess some telepathic abilites. Read related news story...
